Itinerary
Upon arrival at NJP Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport, meet our representative and drive towards Gangtok (approx. 120 km / 4-5 hrs). Enjoy the scenic mountain roads, lush valleys, and Teesta River views during your journey. On arrival, check into your hotel and relax. Spend the evening exploring MG Marg or enjoying local Sikkimese cuisine. Overnight stay at Gangtok.
After breakfast, start your excursion to Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft) – a stunning glacial lake famous for its mirror-like reflection of the snow-capped peaks. Next, visit the Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir, built in memory of the brave Indian soldier. Optional visit to Nathula Pass (14,140 ft) can be arranged (subject to permit and weather conditions). Return to Gangtok by evening. Overnight stay at Gangtok.
After breakfast, drive to Lachen (9,400 ft) – a picturesque mountain village in North Sikkim. En route, stop at Singhik View Point, Seven Sister Waterfalls, and Naga Waterfall for scenic photography. The route offers breathtaking views of the snow-covered Himalayas and lush valleys. On arrival at Lachen, check in to your hotel or homestay and enjoy a warm dinner. Overnight stay in Lachen.
Early in the morning, drive to Gurudongmar Lake (17,100 ft), one of the highest and most sacred lakes in the world. The turquoise blue lake surrounded by snow-capped peaks offers a surreal view. After spending some time at the lake, return to Lachen for lunch and continue your journey to Lachung (8,600 ft). En route, enjoy waterfalls and scenic valleys. Overnight stay at Lachung.
After breakfast, visit the breathtaking Yumthang Valley (11,800 ft) – also known as the Valley of Flowers. During spring, the valley comes alive with vibrant rhododendrons and alpine flowers. Visit the Hot Springs (optional) known for their medicinal properties. Later, drive back to Gangtok, arriving by evening. Overnight stay in Gangtok.
After breakfast, check out and drive to Pelling (6,800 ft), a beautiful hill town in West Sikkim known for its panoramic views of Mt. Kanchenjunga. En route, visit Rabdentse Ruins – the second capital of Sikkim, and the Pema Yangtse Monastery. On arrival, check into your hotel and relax. Overnight stay at Pelling.
After breakfast, explore the best attractions of Pelling. Visit Pelling Skywalk, one of the highest glass skywalks in India offering magnificent views of the Chenrezig statue and mountains. Continue to Khecheopalri Lake, a sacred wish-fulfilling lake, followed by Kanchenjunga Waterfalls and Rimbi Waterfalls. End the day with a visit to the peaceful Rabdentse Ruins. Overnight stay at Pelling.
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive towards NJP Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport for your onward journey. Your memorable Sikkim tour concludes with scenic memories and a heart full of Himalayan bliss.
